Date: August 24th 2014 Event: Presentation of wines in the medieval village of Loro Piceno, Marche Region, Italy. The wines of this area are famous and are called vino cotto.

Loro Piceno is the home of cooked wine. Cooked wine is a wine typically and traditionally from the Marche region in Italy, and the small wine area between the cities of Macerata and Fermo.

Every August the medieval village of Loro Piceno hosts the festival dedicated to the history, culture and production of cooked wine.

The festival aims to enhance the cooked wine and the rural landscape of the Municipality of Loro Piceno and promote knowledge on traditional products and stimulate conservation over time.
